COVID19: CISCE to Conduct Class 10 and 12 Board Exams for 14 Subjects

NEW DELHI: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released a notification stating the details of the remaining Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. The board will conduct the exams for 14 subjects in a period of 6-8 days including Saturdays and Sundays.

CISCE shall conduct the ICSE Class 10 exam for 6 subjects that are Geography Paper 2; Biology- Science Paper 3; Economics; Group III Elective; Hindi and Arts Paper 4.

The board will conduct Class 12 exams for 8 papers. The papers for which ISC Class 12 board exams will be held are Biology Paper 1; Business Studies; Geography; Sociology; Psychology; Home Science Paper 1; Elective English and Art Paper 5.

The complete schedule of remaining board exams will be issued after lockdown. According to the latest media news, the lockdown is further extended till May 17, 2020. Hence, it can be expected that the exams will commence after May 17. The rescheduled exam dates will be communicated to all Heads of schools 8 days before the exam.

The notification also states that results for the same will be announced within 6 to 8 weeks after conducting the exams.
