NEW DELHI: The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has postponed the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2023 following the reports of paper leak. The exam was scheduled to be held in two shifts on October 1.
The examination authority had nabbed some candidates cheating using electronic devices. The candidates were then handed over to the local police. As per reports, around 25 persons were arrested by the police for using illegal means during the examination.
The official notice of the CSBC read that the upcoming Bihar Constable recruitment 2023 exam that was scheduled from October 7 and 15 have also been postponed till further notice.
The board said the details about the new dates for the Bihar Police Constable Exam 2023 will be communicated to the candidates in due course of time. The board has advised students to visit the official website for the updates.
This recruitment is being conducted for recruitment of 21,391 vacancies of Bihar Police constables.
The board will conduct the examination in pen and paper mode. The question paper was divided in six sections – English, Hindi, mathematics, science, social science and general knowledge. The exam is for 100 marks and students will get two hours to attempt it.

The exam was scheduled to be conducted across 529 centres across 37 districts on October 1, 5 and 15. The board physical examination test (PET) was to be held in November. The merit list was scheduled to be issued in December.
Earlier yesterday, several students had asked the board to postpone the examination following the reports of Bihar Police Constable Exam 2023 leak.
