CSEET 2021 July exam to be conducted tomorrow; Check exam-day guidelines here
Candidates appearing in CSEET 2021 must be aware of the basic dos and don'ts to be followed on July 10, especially with regards to technical specifications for the remote-proctored exam.
NEW DELHI: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, will conduct CSEET 2021 July session exam in remote proctored mode on July 10, 2021. Since the exam will be held in online mode, the exam-day requirements are a bit different from a regular exam. For example, candidates must ensure they have a working computer system and webcam.
The authorities have changed the mode of exam to a home-proctored test to reduce the chance of candidates being infected by a coronavirus and to stop the spread of the COVID-19.
The following exam-day guidelines/ instructions have been prescribed by ICSI.
Candidates should keep their (i) CSEET admit card, (ii) Identity card such as passport, PAN card, UID Aadhaar card, Voter ID or any other proof issued by government departments for verification. Candidates appearing in the CSEET exam without these shall not be allowed to take the test.
Candidates are required to login 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the CSEET exam schedule.
ICSI will not allow candidates to give the test after completion of 15 minutes after the commencement of CSEET exam.
Candidates should not keep any book/ study material/ notes/ mobile phone/ electronic gadget.
Only bonafide candidates should appear in the test and no other person.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the CSEET exam before the submission time.
No in-between breaks will be allowed.
Test Process: All candidates must download the Mandatory SEB (Safe Exam Browser) before appearing in the CSEET exam. ICSI will share login credentials to candidates by email/ SMS before the exam.
CSEET 2021: Points to remember
Candidates violating any of the rules set by the ICSI during the exam will not be allowed to continue with their exams.
Candidates should not-
Disable the webcam
Tab out of the window
Use old browser
Make their faces go out of the vision of the camera
Allow other people to be in the same room during the test
Disable the full-screen mode
The Proctor will communicate with the candidate(s) via microphone (audio only) or the camera (video + sound) modes or can also chat through an active chat session
