CSIR NET June 2025 cut-off drops for chemical science, physical science across all categories. 984 pass for JRF and assistant professor.

The category-wise results for the June 2025 session of the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) have been declared for all categories. Along with the CSIR NET 2025 result, the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG) has published the CSIR NET cut-off 2025.
Candidates who appeared for the CSIR NET June exam can check the list of roll numbers of qualified candidates on the official website, csirhrdg.res.in. CSIR NET June 2025 result was declared on August 20 for 1.47 lakh candidates.
A total of 984 candidates have qualified the exam in category 1 for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and post of assistant professor. Nine students have passed the exam for JRF only.
25 candidates have cleared the test for JRF NET to be funded by the Ministry of Earth Science. They are also eligible for assistant professor posts.
1,866 aspirants have passed the test for JRF under the University Grants Commission (UGC)’s JRF scheme. These candidates, too, are eligible for assistant professor posts.
Under category 2 for assistant professor and admission to PhD programmes, a total of 2,886 candidates have been declared qualified. On the other hand, as many as 9,232 are eligible for category 3 which is for PhD admissions only.
The NTA CSIR NET cut-off has increased for mathematical science and earth science subjects in all the three categories. The CSIR UGC NET cut-off for chemical science and physical science saw a drastic drop across all categories.
