NEW DELHI: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the CTET 2020 application form window today. This is the last chance for aspirants to fill the application form of CTET 2020 July Session. The application form is available on the official website - ctet.nic.in. Earlier, the application form was released on January 24, 2020. CBSE will conduct the exam in 20 languages in 112 cities across the country on July 5, 2020. Check the steps to apply below.
How to Fill CTET Application Form?
Follow the steps given below to fill the application form -
Step 1: Go to the official website - ctet.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Application Form for CTET JULY 2020’ under the ‘Current Events’ section
Step 3: Click on ‘New Registration’ and enter personal details and contact details
Step 4: Registration number and password will be generated, note it down
Step 5: Fill in the details in the application form
Step 6: Upload scanned images of photograph and signature in the size prescribed in the official notification
Step 7: Pay the application fee
Step 8: Print the payment confirmation page

Candidates can pay the application fee until March 5, 2020. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form March 17 to 24, 2020.
CTET is conducted twice every year in July and December to test the eligibility of candidates as school teachers of classes I to VIII. There are two CTET papers - Paper-I (for teachers if classes I to V) and Paper-II (for teachers of classes VI to VIII). About 30 lakh candidates register for each cycle of the exam. Candidates who qualify the exam are issued CTET certificates which have a validity of seven years. Candidates can use these certificates to apply as teachers in schools across the country.
