Check NowNEW DELHI, JANUARY 22: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the exam dates of CTET 2020 July Session in their latest press release. CTET July session will be conducted on July 5, 2020. Candidates will be able to download the detailed CTET notification from January 24, 2020, from the official website - ctet.nic.in . Candidates will be able to fill the application form of CTET 2020 from January 24 to February 24. The last date to pay the online application fee will be February 27, 2020 (3:30 pm).

CTET is conducted to test the eligibility of candidates as school teachers of classes I to VIII. Candidates who wish to teach classes I to V have to take paper-I while those who want to become teachers of classes VI to VIII have to appear for paper-II. Candidates can also opt to appear for both the papers.
Candidates who qualify the exam will be issued TET eligibility certificates using which candidates can apply as teachers in schools across the country. CTET certificates are valid for a period of seven years from the date of issuance.
