NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam 2023 on August 20. The CTET admit card with a detailed description of examination centres will be uploaded on the official website of CBSE – ctet.nic.in on August 18.

The qualifying marks for the CTET 2023 exam will be decided by the exam conducting authorities. Candidates will be considered qualified if they obtain a score of 60 percent on the test. The total marks for the CTET exam 2023 are 150 and a candidate will have to obtain a score of 90 or higher for being eligible for a lifetime certificate. After the announcement of the results, the CBSE will grant eligibility certificates to eligible applicants. The CTET eligibility certificate is valid for a lifetime.

The cut-off of CTET July 2023 will depend on the number of candidates who have appeared in the exam, the minimum qualifying score, the number of candidates who have registered, and the previous year's cut-off of the CTET exam.

The Central Board of Secondary Education has the right to adjust the minimum cutoff depending on the paper's difficulty level and the number of candidates taking the exam. The candidates seeking to pursue a career in teaching from Classes 1 to Class 8 in various schools, like kendriya vidyalaya (KV), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), and other private schools will be eligible for the teaching posts based on the CTET score.
