CTET 2024 Answer Key to release by January 2, results awaited: Reports

NEW DELHI : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 answer key along with the response sheet by January 1 or 2, 2025. Candidates will be able to check the CTET answer key using their login credentials through the official website at ctet.nic.in. The CTET 2024 exam was held on December 14 in two shifts.
“We are trying to release the answer keys by January 1 or 2, and the result will be released in the week following the release of the answer key, that is, around January 6 or 7,” a CBSE official told The Indian Express .
Over 23 lakh candidates appear for the CTET exam every year for each exam session. The exam is held for teaching posts of Class 1 to 12 in state and central government schools.
The CTET 2024 passing mark for the general category is 60% (minimum 90 marks out of 150) and for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates will have to secure 55% marks to qualify for the exam (minimum of 82 out of 150).
Candidates will be given a chance to raise objections against the CTET 2024 answer key and will have to pay Rs 1,000 per question challenged.

CTET Answer Key 2024: How to calculate probable marks?
Candidates can calculate the probable scores with the help of CTET answer key 2024. Candidates can add 1 mark for each correct answer. No marks are to be deducted for questions not attempted and no negative will be followed for incorrect answers. Candidates can add the total marks to get the probable CTET scores using the answer key.
