NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January 2024 answer key and result date. The CTET exam 2024 was held on January 21. The CTET answer key 2024 will be hosted on the official website, ctet.nic.in.

The 18th edition of CTET 2024 was held in 3,418 test centres in 135 cities across India. A total of 26,93,526 candidates registered for CTET January 2024, of which 9,58,193 opted for paper 1 and 17,35,333 for paper 2. Around 84% candidates appeared in the examination, the board informed.

As per the CTET 2024 exam analysis, both paper 1 and 2 were easy to moderate in difficulty level. Candidates found the question paper to be lengthy and the environmental studies section to be difficult compared to other sections in CTET paper 1.

CTET provisional answer key is expected to be issued in the second week of February, as per past trends. Candidates will be allowed to challenge the answers by paying a non-refundable objection fee. The CTET final result will be declared based on the revised answer key prepared by subject experts after reviewing the challenges raised by the candidates.
