CTET Application Form 2019 To Be Released Anytime Today; Detailed Notification Released

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 5: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the application form of CTET 2019 anytime today, on February 5. The CTET application form 2019 will be available in online mode and candidates can fill it till March 5 (till 5 pm). The dates for the application and other details about the exam have been released through the official notification and bulletin of CTET, which are released today, on February 5, 2019.

While the application deadline is March 5, candidates can make the fee payment against the application till March 8 (3.30 pm). The authority will also provide a correction facility (for candidates who have entered some incorrect data/particulars) from March 14 to 20. All candidates must note that corrections must be made within the deadline, as not a single correction will be allowed once the deadline gets over.

According to the CTET notification, the test for 2019 July session will be conducted across multiple exam centres in 97 cities, whereas last year, it was conducted in 92 cities. This means that for 2019, the authority has added 5 more exam cities.

Candidates can also check the final status of their application form from March 25, 2019.

Earlier, CTET officials had declared that CTET 2019 will be held on July 7. However, no other dates were available besides the exam date. But now, the application dates have been declared.

The dates related to CTET admit card, answer key and result will be announced in due course.

CTET is held twice a year, however, last year, the test was held only once. Though the exam was announced to be held on September 16, but it did not take place. Later the test was conducted on December 9 where 1,78,273 candidates had qualified the paper I for Primary School Teachers, and 1,26,968 had made it to the cut off of paper II for Middle School Teachers. This means that 17 percent candidates had qualified paper I, while the pass percentage of paper II was 15.
