NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2024) schedule for December exam and announced that the CTET exam will be held on December 15. However, the revised CTET information bulletin states that the exam will be held on December 14.

The CTET exam 2024 was initially scheduled to be conducted on December 1 in two shifts. While uploading the notification, the CBSE said that it may hold the exam for two days and tentatively slated the exam for November 30 to accommodate the large number of candidates registered in cities. The exam is held to determine eligibility of candidates for appointment of teachers at Classes 1 to 8.

“Now, as per the information received from various candidates, few competitive examinations are scheduled to be held in some states/union territories on 15 December 2024 (Sunday). In case the number of candidates is more in any city, the exam may also be conducted on 15th December, 2024 (Sunday),” the notification read.
