CTET Notification 2019 Released; Check CTET Exam Dates Here

NEW DELHI, AUGUST 19: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released CTET notification for December session on August 19 2019. The CTET application form is available on the official website. Candidates can fill the CTET application form 2019 by visiting the official website of CTET till September 18, 2019 Whereas the last date to pay the application fee online will be September 23, 2019, till 15.30 PM. CTET December session exam will be conducted on December 8, 2019 in offline mode.
Candidates willing to apply for CTET December exam must see the eligibility criteria mentioned in the CTET notification before filling the CTET application form. This is the 13th edition of CTET exam. The CTET examinations will be conducted in 20 languages across 110 major cities in India. Candidates can find the details related to the syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and the important dates, on CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) determines the eligibility of a candidate for their appointment as a teacher for class 1 to 8. CTET exam is conducted for two papers - Paper 1, which is meant for the Primary stage (for classes 1 to 5) teachers and Paper 2 is meant for the Elementary stage (for classes 6 to 8) teachers. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for both papers can apply for both of them.
The CTET question papers are based on Child Development & Pedagogy, Mathematics, Social Studies and Environmental Studies. There will be two language papers as well. The CTET examinations are conducted twice a year in English, Hindi as well as other major regional languages. The duration of the CTET examination is 2 hours 30 minutes, each for both papers.
