CUET 2022: NTA postpones today's exam to August 12 for 29 cities

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency has postponed the Common University Entrance Test undergraduate (CUET UG) first shift exam held today, August 4, to August 12 for candidates who attended the CUET 2022 exam in 29 cities across 17 states in India as the exams could not be conducted due to various administrative and technical reasons.
Due to technical issues, NTA could upload the CUET UG 2022 second shift question paper only at 5 pm, and the download at 489 centres could start only at 5:25 pm. CUET 2022 second shift exams were scheduled to begin at 3 pm. The CUET 2022 second shift scheduled for August 4 (3 pm to 6 pm) is also postponed and will be held from August 12 to 14, NTA informed in a public notice released today.

Affected candidates can use the same CUET admit card while attending the postponed CUET 2022 exams from August 12 onwards. Candidates who are not comfortable with the August 12-14 dates confirmed by NTA for second chance, can send an e-mail to datechange@nta.ac.in mentioning their desired date and roll number. NTA further requested the candidates to keep checking the NTA website(s) -- nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in for the latest CUET UG 2022 updates.
