NEW DELHI: Now that CUET UG 2022 results are out, the undergraduate (UG) admission 2022 to central universities and other participating universities through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores will begin soon. Universities will prepare their own merit list and will decide about their individual counselling process on the basis of the CUET-UG scorecard, the NTA said.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the CUET results 2022 for UG admission in central and other participating universities early this morning, September 16, 2022, on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The debut edition of CUET 2022 which saw nearly 15 lakh registration, recorded 64.96% attendance. According to reports, nearly 20,000 candidates scored a perfect 100 percentile.
English has the maximum number of 8,236 candidates who scored a perfect 100 percentile. Followed by political science (2,065), business studies (1,669), biology (1,324) and economics (1,188).
DU admission 2022 registration began on September 12 through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal at ugadmission.uod.ac.in. More than 34,000 candidates were reported to have registered for DU admission 2022 till 6 PM on September 13. The DU admission process this year will be different compared to past years.
DU admission 2022 will be conducted in three phases this year - submission of the CSAS 2022 application form, selection of programmes and filling of preferences, and seat allocation and admission.

Till last year, Delhi University colleges used to release DU cut-off lists for admission for various courses. Following which, the university used to publish the compiled first DU cut-off list at du.ac.in. Later, the individual colleges publish second, third and fourth cut-off lists based on the vacancies. The Delhi University cut-off list was earlier prepared with the help of the best of four calculations, including one language and three academic subjects.
The DU admission is expected to be a tough race as the number of candidates scoring 100 percentile in CUET 2022 result is higher for English and a few other top courses. Take a look at last year’s DU cut-offs for these top courses here.
Ramjas College had kept the highest cut-off for English Honors at 99.75% and four other DU colleges - Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Hindu College,Hansraj College, Jesus and Mary College had also announced 99% and above as cut-off for admission to BA (Hons) English last year.

The highest first cut-off for BA Economics in Delhi University last year was 100% at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). A total of 1,188 candidates scored 100 percentile in CUET result 2022.

1,209 students scored 100 percentile in Psychology in CUET 2022. Last year, the highest cut-off score of Jesus and Mary College was at 100% for BA Hons Psychology.
