The Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET-PG) cut-off 2026 will be out soon by the participating universities like University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. The cut-off for all the 157 subjects will be out separately. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the CUET-PG result on the official website of CUET PG at exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg.

The CUET PG 2026 admission cutoff will differ depending on the course, category, and university. Admissions to central universities, state universities, and other participating institutes will be based on these cutoffs. Typically, top institutions such as University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University tend to have higher cutoffs compared to other participating colleges, given their strong reputation and demand.

The cutoff marks represent the minimum score required for admission into a specific course at a particular institution, and they can change every year. Several factors influence these cutoffs, including the difficulty level of the exam, the number of available seats, and the total number of candidates appearing for the test. Additionally, aspects such as the university’s ranking and the candidate’s category also play a role, which is why cutoff scores can vary widely across institutions.

CUET PG 2025: Expected cut-off

The expected CUET PG 2025 cut-off for leading central universities such as JNU, DU, and BHU is likely to remain on the higher side, with general category candidates requiring around 180–230+ marks out of 300. Highly competitive programmes like MBA, Psychology, and Economics may see even higher cut-offs. For OBC candidates, the expected range is typically 180–210+, while for SC/ST categories it may fall between 165–185+.

Courses at top institutions, especially at JNU and BHU, often demand scores above 200, particularly in disciplines like M.Sc. Psychology, MBA, and English. Subject-wise, MBA programmes may require around 210–250+ marks, MA Political Science or History could range between 160–200+, and M.Sc. Physics or Chemistry is expected to fall in the 170–190+ range.

A similar cut-off trend is expected this year as well. Candidates should anticipate comparable score ranges across categories and courses.
