CUET UG 2022: August 5 exam postponed in 15 cities across 10 states: NTA

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) undergraduate first shift exam scheduled to be held on August 5, 2022, in about 20 exam centres, and the CUET UG 2022 second shift exam in 30 centres due to certain technical issues in these centres. CUET UG 2022 exam has been postponed in 15 cities across 10 states., NTA informed in a notice.

NTA further advised the CUET UG 2022 candidates to visit the NTA websites -- nta.ac.in and cuet.samarth.ac.in for latest updates regarding the CUET exam. "NTA took immediate note of reports of technical issues in some centres. Reports were asked from the observers /city coordinators on ground. Based on their recommendations, the decision of postponement has been taken," NTA said in a statement.

NTA has already postponed the CUET UG first shift exam held on August 4 in 29 cities across 17 states as the exams citing administrative and technical reasons. NTA also cancelled the CUET UG 2022 second shift scheduled on Thursday across all centres.

NTA began the CUET exam 2022 phase 2 second day today at 9 am. CUET 2022 is being conducted in two shifts - 9 am to 12:15 pm and 3 pm to 6:45 pm. Phase 2 of the CUET exam began on August 4. The exams are scheduled to be conducted till August 20. CUET UG 2022 phase 1 was held from July 15 to 20.
