NTA to reopen CUET UG 2023 registration portal tomorrow, apply by April 11: UGC chairman

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will reopen the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG 2023) application form submission window tomorrow, the UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said. The decision was taken after numerous representations from prospective students.
Those who missed the deadline but wish to apply for the CUET 2023 exam will have to register by April 11 on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. The NTA had recently closed the CUET correction window on April 3.
The second-edition of CUET 2023 for UG admission at central universities, state universities and other participating institutions have seen a 41 percent increase in registration compared to the last year. 242 universities have opted for the CUET 2023 for UG admission this year as against 90 universities last year.
A total of 16.85 lakh students registered for CUET UG 2023, of which 13.995 lakhs paid the application fee and submitted the application form, the UGC chairman said recently.
How to fill CUET UG application form 2023
The NTA will soon issue an official notification on reopening of CUET 2023 registration window. Meanwhile, students can check the steps to apply for the entrance exam for UG admission.
- Visit the CUET official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in 2023.
- Click on the “Register” option on the homepage.
- Enter basic details such as a valid email address to generate password.
- Login again using the registration number and password.
- Now fill the application form with personal, academic details.
- Upload scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature and category certificate, and PwBD Certificate wherever applicable.
- Pay the requisite examination fee through online mode.
- Review the CUET application form 2023 and “Submit”.
