NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduates (CUET UG) 2024 results yesterday, July 28. A total of 13,47,820 candidates registered for the CUET 2024 exam. As per the attendance record, a total of 1,113,610 appeared for the exam. Candidates who appeared for the CUET 2024 exam can view and download their results from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.

The NTA held the CUET UG 2024 in a hybrid mode on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, and 29 at various centers in 379 cities, including 26 international locations. A re-exam for CUET 2024 was conducted on July 19. The provisional answer key was published on July 7, with the objection window open until July 9.

Out of the total 1,347,820 registered candidates, 1,113,610 appeared for the CUET 2024 exam. Specifically, 630,565 females registered, out of which 519,283 turned up for the CUET 2024 exam. On the other hand, 717,248 males registered for CUET 2024, out of which 594,324 appeared for the exam. Additionally, out of 7 third gender candidates who registered, 3 appeared for the CUET 2024 exam.

CUET Result 2024 Out: Category-wise attendance record

As per the CUET 2024 result statistics , the General category had the highest number of absentees, while the EWS category had the lowest. Out of the total 1,347,820 candidates who registered for CUET 2024 exam, 2,34,210 candidates were absent. The General (Unreserved) category had the highest number of registrations with 543,996 candidates, out of which 448,908 appeared, and there were 95,088 absentees.

The Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) category followed with 482,552 registered candidates, 399,945 of whom appeared, and 82,607 were absent. The Scheduled Caste (SC) category had 144,851 registrations, out of which 119,164 appeared, and 25,687 skipped the CUET 2024 exam. The Scheduled Tribe (ST) category had 88,097 registrations, with 70,613 appearing and 17,484 absent.
