Try NowThe National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration process for the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET UG 2026) for admission to bachelor’s programmes in 48 central universities and other participating universities across the country. The CUET UG exam 2026 will be conducted tentatively from May 11 to 31.

The CUET UG exam will be conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) in 13 languages for admissions to central, state, deemed, and private universities in the country. As per the list of participating universities published by the NTA, a total of 185 universities have adopted the CUET 2026 for UG admission 2026 .
There are a total of 37 subjects, among which 23 are domain-specific subjects, as per earlier announcements. Candidates will be allowed to choose up to a maximum of five subjects including languages and the General Aptitude Test.
Each test paper will have 50 compulsory questions and candidates will be given one hour to attempt the exam.
CUET UG registration fee, eligibility
As per the eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to appear for the exam. Students who have completed Class 12 or equivalent exam or are appearing in the board exam 2026 will be eligible for CUET UG 2026 .
The registration fee for the CUET exam has not been changed for this year. Category-wise CUET application fee is given below:
