CUET UG May 24 exam postponed for candidates allotted Silchar centre; fresh admit card soon

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG 2024) exam scheduled to be held on May 24 for Silchar, Assam candidates. As per the revised schedule, CUET UG exam for candidates allotted centre in Silchar will now be conducted on May 29. The CUET admit card 2024 for the candidates will be issued soon at the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

“Due to logistical constraints”, the NTA allotted CUET exam centres outside Silchar for some candidates who opted for Bengali (104) and Environmental Studies (307) test papers to be conducted in CBT mode on May 24.

“Based on their representation to change their examination Centre to Silchar only and to support the students' community, it has been decided that for those candidates who will not be able to reach their assigned Centres, their examination will be held” on May 29. Moreover, the testing agency informed that the exam will be held in pen and paper mode.

It advised candidates not to travel outside Silchar, Assam and that it will issue fresh admit cards. This provision is only applicable for candidates who have opted and assigned Silchar as exam centre.

“All affected candidates are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure they can appear for their exams. For more details regarding the CUET (UG) – 2024, the candidates may contact 011 - 40759000 / 011 - 69227700 or e-mail at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in,” the NTA said.
