Try NowNEW DELHI, APRIL 8: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started off the four day examination of JEE Main April 2019 Paper I. The first two slots of the entrance examination for B.Tech admissions is being conducted today i.e., April 8. The forenoon session has commenced at 9:30 AM and will be held till 12:30 PM. Candidates who will be attempting the afternoon session will have the examination from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. JEE Main 2019 April Paper I is being conducted completely in computer based mode.

The authorities started off the entry into the examination hall at 7:30 AM. Candidates were allowed inside till 9:15 AM. However, some of the latecomers were allowed inside the examination centre after the final call. Frisking was done by the authorities on all candidates. Along with the admit card, the candidates had to produce a valid photo ID and a photograph.
JEE Main April 2019 Paper I is a 3 hour long entrance examination. Questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics have to be attempted by the candidates. JEE Main April 2019 is being conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. In total there will be eight sessions i.e., two sessions per day.
NTA conducted Paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 on April 7. The examination was conducted in computer based mode for aptitude and Mathematics section while for the drawing section it was held in pen and paper mode.
