Try NowNew Delhi: The second day of JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 has commenced today at 9:30 PM. The forenoon shift of JEE Main Paper 1 for January session will be concluded at 12:30 PM. The second shift will commence from 2:30 PM and the exam will be over by 5:30 PM. The gates of the exam hall for the forenoon shift were opened at 8:30. Candidates were frisked for electronic gadgets and other types of textual material and after checking the admit cards and ID, candidates were allowed to enter the examination hall.

JEE Main January 2020 - Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates must carry their JEE Main Admit Card at the exam hall to get entry.

Along with the admit card, candidates must also carry a verifiable photo ID.

Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre atleast one hour before the opening of entry gates to avoid any kind of hassle on the day of exam.

Upon entering the exam hall, candidates must take up their seat and read all the instructions carefully to avoid any kind of inconvenience.

Pen/Pencil and rough paper will be provided inside the exam hall itself and candidates are not required to carry any other material except admit card and ID.
This year a total of 11,18,673 students applied for JEE Main 2020n January session, out of which 9,21,261 applied for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech) alone. NTA had earlier announced that to avoid any kind of malpractice in the entrance exam.
