Try NowNew Delhi, January 8: National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded the second day of JEE Main January 2020 Paper 1. The examination was held in two shifts - forenoon (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and afternoon shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). Candidates attempted the examination in online or computer based mode at 567 centres in India and abroad. All of the candidates reported early for the examination in order to finish the security check and frisking. With the examination for this day over, NTA has just one more day of JEE Main 2020 to conduct.

JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 Analysis for January 8 (Forenoon Session)
According to the students who attempted the paper, the examination was of moderate difficulty. Mathematics and Physics were the toughest sections while Chemistry was comparatively easier. In the Physics section, the students found that questions derived from 12th standard syllabus were more difficult than the ones taken from 11th standard syllabus. Many students found the simple topics tricky and time consuming.

In the second session, many student found Mathematics to be the toughest section. Physics and chemistry was comparitively easy. Numerical questions were asked in Physics and were formula based. The entire paper was based on NCERT.
JEE Main 2020 is being conducted to provide B.Tech/B.E. or B.Arch/B.Plan admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Paper 2 was conducted on January 6 and Paper 1 is being conducted from January 7 to 9, 2020.
