NEW DELHI, JANUARY 11: Candidates who are appearing for the third day of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 will be able to attempt the examination soon. The forenoon session of JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 for Day 3 is scheduled to commence at 9:30 AM and will be held till 12:30 PM. NTA will be conducting the afternoon session from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. For the first time, the national level engineering entrance examination is being held completely in computer based mode which has been met with positive reviews from the students who have already attempted the exam.

This is the third day of the JEE Main 2019 Paper I examination which will provide B.Tech admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. The previous two days witnessed moderate difficulty papers which each day having different sections difficulty, average and easy. No technical glitches have been faced till now and the candidates who are appearing for today’s examination are also likely not to face any of the same.

NTA has also conducted Paper II (B.Arch) examination of JEE Main 2019 on January 8. The examination was held for only one day in two shifts.

As per NTA’s official notification, around 9,29,198 candidates have registered for Paper 1 of JEE Main. The exam is being held in 467 centres in 258 cities (9 outside India).
