Day 3 of GATE 2020 starts; four papers to be conducted today

Try NowNew Delhi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has commenced the examination for the third day of GATE 2020 i.e., February 8. The forenoon session started at 9:30 AM and will conclude at 12:30 PM. The authorities are conducting the examination for Electrical Engineering (EE), Ecology and Evolution (EY) and Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF) in the forenoon session while the afternoon session will consist of Computer Science and Information Technology (CS). The afternoon session will commence from 2:30 PM and will end at 5:30 PM.
GATE 2020 is being conducted as a computer based test. The duration of each session is 3 hours and the exam will consist of multiple choice questions along with numerical answer type questions. Candidates will have to answer questions which have been designed to test the candidate’s application, analysis, comprehension, recall and synthesis.
IIT Delhi has already conducted GATE 2020 for several papers on February 1 and 2. Among the conducted exams, there were popular subjects such as Mechanical Engineering and Instrumentation Engineering. According to the candidates who attempted the examination, Mechanical Engineering paper was moderate to difficult and most of the questions were from Production, Thermodynamics, Theory of Machines and more. Meanwhile, Instrumentation Engineering had some tough questions and included questions from Q-meter, sensor, optical and more.
The final paper of Civil Engineering (CE) will be conducted tomorrow i.e., February 9. 2020.
