NEW DELHI, JULY 31: Students from various Delhi schools got the opportunity to spend time with renowned author Ruskin Bond during the launch of his latest book, Words from My Window - A Journal. The event was organised by Penguin Random House India and KoolSkool book store at the Shriram Millennium School campus, Noida.
The children greeted the author dressed as their favourite characters from his novel and created an atmosphere reminiscent of his novels. The author also took time to share tales of his literary journey to the large audience of school students. The children also received a signed copy of Ruskin Bond’s new book.
Speaking about the event, Uttara Singh, Director-Principal of the school said, “Today, seeing our children interact with him and be inspired by him goes a long way in reaffirming our commitment and responsibility as a school to foster a long-lasting love for reading in our children and create a generation of avid readers, writers and poets.”
