Delhi Sports University begins admission to its sports school; apply before July 5
Delhi Sports University is conducting admission for Classes 6 to 9 in its sports school at dsu.ac.in. Know eligibility criteria, how to apply.

NEW DELHI: Delhi Sports University is starting admission to its Delhi Sports School from today, June 22. DSU has begun registration for talent scouting for admission to Classes 6 to 9 in its sports school on its official website – dsu.ac.in. The last date to apply for admission is July 5.
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia who also holds the education portfolio said in a tweet, “The Sports University of Delhi Government is starting admission in its sports school from today. Sports talents studying in class VI to IX will get admission here.”

DSU admission: How to apply
- Visit the official website of DSU - dsu.ac.in
- Click on the link ‘Registration Form’ available on the homepage
- Candidates will be redirected to another page
- Read the instructions carefully before filling out the form and click on proceed
- Fill DSU admission application form with all necessary details
- Save the application form for future reference
Eligibility criteria for admission
For Classes 6, 7
- Age Limit: 11-13 years for 6th, 12-14 years for 7th
- The student must have passed the class previous to the one they are applying for.
- When asked for, students should be able to produce the relevant documents in support of their participation or achievement in the chosen sport, wherever possible.
For Classes 8,9
- Age limit: 13-15 for 8th, 14-16 for 9th
- The student must have passed the class previous to the one he/she is applying for.
- The student must have performed in the chosen sport and should be able to produce relevant documents whenever required.
Selection process
- Students will be selected for 10 identified sports in Classes 8,9 and for Generic and Specific sport entry in Classes 6,7.
- There will be 3 levels for admission
- Level 1 is talent scouting
- Level 2 is selection trials in Delhi
- Level 3 is medical exam of shortlisted candidates
- After this, a final admission will be conducted
