DU: University of Delhi will conduct even semester exams in May in physical mode

NEW DELHI: University of Delhi (DU) has decided to conduct all the examinations to be held in the months of March and April 2022 in open-book examination (OBE) mode. The odd semester exams for semesters 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be conducted in open-book exam mode in the month of March and April.
In a notice released by the Delhi University, it was also said that all examinations which are scheduled to be held in the month of May will be conducted in physical mode. The even semester exams for semesters 2, 4, 6 and 8 will be conducted in physical mode.
“The detailed guidelines in this regard shall be issued shortly,” said the DU notice.

Delhi University had recently decided to reopen DU colleges for undergraduate and post-graduate students from February 17 onwards. Many students were protesting at the Delhi University campus for resuming offline classes. A notice released by the DU in this regard said that labs, libraries and canteens will start functioning from February 17 by adhering to COVID-19 protocols. It also asked students to plan their travel to the campus in such a way that they are able to undergo 3 days isolation before reporting to their colleges.
