New Delhi: The Delhi University will hold its convocation on February 26, according to an official notification. During its 97th convocation last year, the university had become the first institution in the country to award "digital degrees" to its 1,78,719 students.
The convocation was conducted in a hybrid manner -- a mix of online and physical mode. Wednesday's notification, however, did not mention the arrangement for the convocation this year.
The latest notification said DU's convocation will begin from 10 AM on February 26 at "Multipurpose hall, Delhi University Sports Stadium Complex, University of Delhi."
DU's latest notification on 98th convocation
The Delhi University has allocated Rs 10 crore for its centenary celebrations, which will commence from May 1 and the university has planned several events in a year-long celebration that will culminate on May 1 next year.
