University of Delhi’s School of Management has launched a new masters programme in tourism management for academics year 2025-26. Students must have qualified the Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate 2025 (CUET PG 2025) to be eligible for MA Tourism Management course.

The duration of the full time tourism management course is one and a half years. Students can access the application form through University of Delhi’s official website at dacee.du.ac.in.

Kumar Ashutosh, head of department, said: "It gives me immense pleasure to introduce the Master in Tourism Management under the Department of Continuing Education and Extension. The course aims to equip students with both global insights and local sensitivities required in this vibrant industry. I welcome all aspiring professionals to be part of this exciting academic journey and become leaders in shaping the future of responsible and innovative tourism."

The MA Tourism Management programme at Delhi University will provide in-depth knowledge of sustainable tourism, heritage management, and global travel practices, as per the official notice.

DU’s MA Tourism Management: Eligibility, scope

Applicants must have a bachelors degree with 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognised university admission and valid CUET PG score to be able to apply for the tourism programme.

The curriculum for MA in Tourism management comprises tourism planning and policy, destination management and travel agency, sustainable and ecotourism, digital and smart tourism strategies, research methodology in tourism, GIS and tourism.

In addition, students will be exposed to real-world scenarios through internships, projects, and heritage site visits.

The tourism management course at DU will open doors to opportunities for students in government tourism departments, travel companies, airlines, hotels, event management and firms, and international organisations.
