Delhi University provides admission to students in the undergraduate programmes with the help of the marks scored by them in the Class 12 examination. The university also offers a total of 13 undergraduate courses through an entrance test, known as the Delhi University entrance test (DUET). The DUET exam 2021 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from September 26 to October 1.
Students need to select the type of programmes they wish to apply for while filling the DU application form 2021. Candidates applying through the ECA and sports categories need to upload self-attested copies of the certificates of the last four years. This year, there will be no sports trials and competitions through online or offline mode for DU ECA and sports quota or supernumerary seats, owing to the Covid-19 situation.
The University of Delhi offers around 70,000 seats in undergraduate programmes through merit-based admission in its affiliated colleges. The Delhi University admission process will be completely online this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Delhi university admissions for PG and doctoral level programmes began on July 26. The university has received a total of 69,541 registrations for PG programmes and 98,984 registration for MPhil and PhD programmes till yesterday.
