New Delhi: Delhi University has started the application process for foreign nationals seeking admission to the various undergraduate, postgraduate, MPhil, PhD, Diploma and other programmes on February 10. A single window. Foreign Registry office is now available for accepting application forms from such candidates.
The university offers various programmes in the fields of Arts, Humanities, Law, Social Sciences, Commerce, Business Studies and many others. The academic session for all courses will start from the third week of July 2020.
Who is a foreign national?
As per the university, a candidate who holds the passport or citizenship of a country other than India or a candidate who holds an OCI/PIO card along with a passport of a country other than India will be considered a foreign national.
A non-resident Indian (NRI) or Indian citizen with the qualifying exam from an international board/foreign university is not eligible for admission under the foreign nationals category.
Categories of the applicants
The university admits the foreign nationals under the following categories;

Scholarship schemes of Indian Council for Cultural Research (ICCR), Govt. of India
-
Self-financing Students & applicants with scholarship other than ICCR
-
Casual Affiliation (to audit/credit courses, not leading to the award of any degree
Application process
The application form can be filled only in online mode. Candidates will have to fill the application form and submit the attested copies of all prescribed documents at the FSR office by post or self. The FSR office evaluates the application and shortlists candidates for admission.
