New Delhi, April 25: The National Board of Examination (NBE) has notified that from 2019 onward, admission to DNB Broad Specialty (post MBBS) courses will be done exclusively through a single admission session, i.e. January admission session. Previously, admission was conducted in two sessions - January and July.

In the old structure, admission to January session was done based on NEET PG merit, whereas admission to July session was done based on a DNB CET exam which was conducted by NBE around June/July.

As per new notifications, no further DNB CET exam will be conducted. Also, the seat allotment process for the January session will be done through a merit-based counselling using NEET PG merit list.
