DNB NEET PG and PDCET 2020 counselling last date of registration extended

NEW DELHI: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the last date of the online counselling registration for Diplomate of National Board (DNB Post-MBBS) and Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (DNB PDCET). Aspirants are now required to submit their choices before May 20, 2020, till 2:00 PM. The authority started the registration on May 8, 2020. The admission to the post-MBBS course is granted on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG), on the other hand, the admission to post-diploma will be done through PDCET scores. How to register for DNB CET and DNB PDCET 2020 counselling?

The following are the steps to register for DNB CET and DNB PDCET counseling 2020.

Step 1: Registration
Go to the official website counseling.nbe.edu.in and create a password.

Step 2: Login
A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent on the registered mobile number and email ID. Candidates need to log in. The asked personal, academic, contact, and asked details must be entered carefully.

Step 3: Fee Payment
The application fees of Rs. 2500 must need to be paid in online mode for the successful registration.

Step 4: Review of the personal details
Here, aspirants are advised to review and edit the personal details if any mistakes are made.

Step 5: Uploading of documents
The scanned copies of the required documents must be uploaded as per specifications mentioned by the authority.

Step 6: Choice filling
Candidates need to select the hospitals and specializations as per their preferences. For filling the choices, candidates have to first select the state and then hospitals, followed by specialty and add the choice.

Step 7: Declaration box
Lastly, candidates need to click on the ‘I accept’ declaration box. It is to be noted that aspirants can add and remove the choices filled unless they lock it.

Through DNB PDCET counselling 2020, the admission to 1,856 PDCET seats will be offered in 942 colleges of India. Whereas, NBE conducts the counselling for DNB CET 2020 for admission to 2256 DNB seats available in 1038 hospitals across the country.
