Candidates who applied for admission under EWS quota to nursery, pre-school, KG, primary, Class 1 can check the first merit list at edudel.nic.in.
NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Education (DoE) has declared Delhi EWS admission result 2022 for economically weaker sections (EWS) candidates on the official website – edudel.nic.in. EWS candidates and their parents who had applied for admission under EWS quota can check the first merit list on the website by using registration number and date of birth of the candidate.

The Delhi EWS admission 2022 merit list contains information such as registration number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, guardian’s name, school ID, name of allotted school and class. Parents will have to reach out to the concerned school authorities to understand the formalities that are to be fulfilled as part of the admission process.
Delhi EWS Admissions Result 2022: Steps To Check
- Visit the official website of Delhi education department – edudel.nic.in.
- Click on the “EWS/DG Admissions and EWS/Freeship Admissions” link available on the homepage
- Now, click on the “EWS/DG/FREESHIP Result 2022-23" link provided towards the end of the page
- Enter your registration number and date of birth.
- The Delhi EWS admission result 2022 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the result and take a printout for future use

The Delhi Directorate of Education conducts an examination for EWS candidates every year for admission to entry-level classes such as nursery, pre-School, KG, Primary, and Class 1 in all private unaided recognized schools of Delhi (except minority) recognized by the education department. At least 25% of total seats at the entry level class of a school are available under the EWS category.
The age criteria for EWS admission is 3-5 years for nursery, pre-school, 4-6 years for KG, pre-primary and 5-7 years for Class 1 as on March 31, 2019.
