'Don't want offline exams, it's risky...' say CBSE Classes 9 and 11 students

CBSE Classes 9 and 11 students and state board students are demanding to conduct exams in online mode, as they are not ready for offline exams.
NEW DELHI : After the confirmation of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 exams mode and dates, Classes 9 and 11 students took to Twitter to request conducting exams in online mode instead of offline. The exams are expected to be conducted in March/April 2021.
The students are asking the board to conduct the final examination in online mode due to rising COVID-19 cases. Some students have asked to provide them with an option to choose between online and offline exams so to prepare as per their convenience.
One student named Sachin Dev said, “Please CBSE, take the exam in an online way because we are not prepared for the offline exam. Please think that for 9th and 11th”. See his tweet below:

Some students suggested that students should have an option to select the mode of paper between online and offline. One student’s tweet is given below:

Some students replied on education minister’s tweet and said, “Sir please understand the situation of Class 9 and 11. We don't want any offline exams. It's totally risky to go to school.”

Along with this, other board students are also requesting for Class 9 and 11 exams in online mode. Some state boards including Goa, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh have announced the Classes 9 and 11 exam dates.
One student named Chethan Lucky said, “not only for CBSE students its for all state board decision to take exams online for 9th and 1st PU”

The Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ had on December 31, 2020, announced the exam dates for the CBSE board exams.
