DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment registration starts tomorrow at dsssbonline.nic.in

The DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment is being held to fill 5,118 vacancies of TGTs in schools of Delhi government, local bodies and autonomous bodies.
NEW DELHI: The Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board will start the DSSSB Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) recruitment 2024 registration process on the official website, dsssbonline.nic.in. The DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment process is being held for 5,118 vacancies of TGT maths, social science, natural science, physical science, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, and drawing.
Candidates can apply for the DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment till March 8. The recruitment is being done to fill vacancies in the schools of UT government schools, local bodies and autonomous bodies.
Eligibility criteria
Students applying for the posts will have to fulfil the following the criterias:
- Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (honours/pass) or equivalent with the subject for which he or she is applying from a recognised university with 45% marks in aggregate along with one of the school subjects.
- The requirement as to minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at graduation level will be relaxed if the candidate belongs to SC, ST and PwD categories. It will also be relaxed if the applicant has has postgraduate degree in the respective subject
- The candidate should have degree in education and working knowledge of Hindi
- He should have also qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
Candidates applying for the DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment should be below 32 years. For female candidates the upper age limit is 40 years. Students from reserved categories will also get relaxation criteria.

Applicants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100. However, female candidates and those belonging from SC, ST, PwBD and exserviceman categories will not have to submit any application fee.
Exam pattern
The DSSSB TGT 2024 recruitment exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) each in two sections. MCQs in section A will be worth 2 marks while those in section B will be of one mark. The student will have to attempt the 200 MCQs in two hours.
