DTE Maharashtra Announces MHT CET 2019 Exam Date

NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 21: DTE Maharashtra has announced the exam dates of MHT CET 2019. The entrance test will be held from May 2 to May 13 in online mode. However, they have declared that the dates announced are tentative.The state level entrance exam is conducted for the candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by its participating institutes.
This year, MHT CET will be conducted only in online mode. Until last year, the authorities used to conduct the exam in the offline mode.There will be no negative marking and the difficulty level will be according to the JEE Main. MHT CET will consist 2 question papers with each paper carrying Multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. Candidates will be provided 90 marks to attempt each paper.

MHT CET has been re-introduced in the year 2016. Before that (in 2014 and 2015), the state level engineering colleges offered admission to candidates based on JEE Main score.
The registration process of MHT CET 2019 will tentatively start from the third week of January in online mode. Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2019 prescribed by the authorities. The admit card will be released in the last week of April in online mode.
