Download NowNEW DELHI, JULY 27: Putting an end to all the speculations about DU sixth cut off release,the University of Delhi has made an announcement for special UG admissions drive in a press release. With almost all the seats in general category already filled, the DU affiliated colleges are merely left with few seats in the reserved category. The admission committee of Delhi University has recommended a special drive for filling remaining seats in all the colleges, which will take place from July 29 to July 30.

After the special admission drive is over, the university will announce the DU sixth cut off 2019 on August 1. The document verification and admission approval process for which will start from the same day and will be finished on August 3.
Candidates belonging to the reserved category who were not able to claim a seat until the fifth DU cut off release due to any reason will also be eligible for admission if the seats remain vacant in their desired programme/ college. The university is providing an opportunity to make online rectifications for the reserved category candidates (SC, ST, EWS, PwD, OBC, KM, CW, SIkh Minority) who were not able to apply for admission under their respective categories.
Giving some relief to the NCT Delhi’s women applicants, the university will now consider the NCT Delhi residents who have not applied under NCWEB to be eligible for admission in NCWEB, if they meet the forthcoming cut off. Also, those candidates who were not able to pay the requisite admission fee under the stipulated time but had been approved for admission will be given a chance to pay the fee during special admission drive. Furthermore, the candidates will also be eligible for admission to entrance based UG courses in their respective categories after rectification. No candidates can make a claim of admission based on the already released admission list.
The university has also made it clear that if any vacant seats are left after 6th DU cut off release, the DU colleges will come up another cut off list on August 6. Candidates who would like to apply for any seat after seventh DU cut off list release can visit the respective college for document verification and admission approval from July 6 to July 8.
