NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has started the DU LLB admission registration 2023. Days after the Delhi High Court order stating that the university can admit students based on Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-UG 2023) score, Delhi University has activated the DU LLB registration link at law.uod.ac.in, and published the information brochure.

The university introduced two five-year integrated law programmes - BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) - through CLAT score. Although the Bar Council of India (BCI) approved 120 seats, 60 for each course, the decision to grant admission through CLAT was challenged in Delhi HC.

The petition sought that the admissions to the five-year integrated law course be done through the CUET-UG 2023 like other central universities. However, after the University Grants Commission (UGC) said CUET is not mandatory for professional specialised courses like law, engineering and medicine, the court allowed university to admit students through CLAT for this academic year 2023-24.

DU LLB allotment results 2023 will be declared based on the merit, category, availability of seats.

Before submitting the DU LLB application form 2023, candidates must ensure that the choices are entered in the order of preferences. Editing the preferences after the stipulated deadline will not be allowed.
