DU Admission 2020: Application correction window open; cut off delayed
NEW DELHI: The University of Delhi has opened the facility to make corrections in the application form of DU 2020 on September 12. Candidates who have registered themselves for admissions to UG programmes can update their class 12th marks and other necessary corrections till October 5.
The varsity is also planning to release DU first cut off 2020 for UG admissions in the second week of October. The cut offs are likely to be out after the declaration of class 12th improvement results.
The Times of India quotes Shobha Bagai, dean of admissions as saying “DU will begin admissions from the second week of October. We are waiting for the CBSE to come out with its results.”
The first cut off of DU was initially expected to be released from the first week of October. Bagai said that the dates for DU cut off release have not been finalized yet but the deliberations are on between various stakeholders.
Candidates must note that they will not be able to make any correction in gender, email ID, mobile number and category in the DU application form. The application correction facility for PG programmes is likely to be opened after the completion of UG exams.
DU has received a record 3,53,919 applications for admissions to UG programmes this year. The number of registrations is around one lakh more than the last year.
