DU Admission 2021: Over 47,000 applications received on day 2

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has received around 47,291 applications for DU UG admissions 2021 against the first cut-off 2021 on the second day.

According to an official statement, DU has approved 9,114 admissions and 7,167 students have paid the online fees by 7:45pm.

DU released the first cut-off 2021 for all courses and colleges on its official website du.ac.in on October 1 for admissions to various undergraduate programmes offered by the university. Several colleges demanded perfect scores for at least three courses this year.

DU admission guidelines

As per the DU admission guidelines, candidates are allowed to choose only one programme and college during admissions against a particular DU cutoff.

Students are not allowed to select multiple programmes or colleges in the same round. However, once the second list of cut-offs are declared, candidates can withdraw from the programme they took admission in the first round and change both course and college only if they meet the second list cut-off at the new college.

DU Admission 2021: How to apply

• Select the college and programme
• Apply for the Programme + College combination from the dashboard
• Submit the documents
• Colleges will verify submitted documents online
• Pay the fees to confirm admission

DU Admission 2021: Documents Required

• Class 10 certificate
• Class 12 certificate
• Relevant reservation certificate issued by competent issuing authority (if applicable).
• Self-attested copies of requisite certificates for admission under sports/ ECA Quota (if
• applicable).
• Link of the uploaded clip for admission against music (if applicable).
• Photo identity card (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Passport or School Identity Card)

The last date to apply for admission against the first cut-off is October 6 midnight. The colleges will approve the admission against the first DU cut-off list by 5 pm on October 7. Candidates have to make the payment by October 8, 5 pm.
