NEW DELHI: A total of 9,504 candidates have accepted the seats allocated to them in Delhi University (DU) third merit list 2022. Around 16,231 students were allotted courses and colleges in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) third round. DU released the third cut-off on November 13 on the official website – admission.uod.ac.in. Last date to accept allocated seats is today, November 15.
DU also issued the first merit list under Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), sports and Children, Widows of Personnel of the Armed Forces (CW) quotas. In the first list, 765 candidates have been allotted seats under the ECA quota, while 1,212 and 2,857 candidates have been selected under sports and CW categories, respectively.
After the allotted seat is accepted by the candidate, the respective colleges will verify the submitted documents and other programme-specific eligibility criteria and approve the application. Colleges can approve online applications of the candidates from November 14 to 16.
The last date for online payment of admission fees by the candidates is November 17. DU will announce the vacant seats for the first spot allocation round on November 20. The first spot allocation list 2022 will be published on November 23. Candidate will have to accept the allocated seats within November 24 to 26
Unlike regular CSAS rounds, seats allocated in a spot admission round will be final. It will not be upgraded in any subsequent round of the spot admission system.

The last date for online payment of admission fee by candidates will be November 27. "On the declaration of the first spot admission round, the admission of already admitted candidates will be locked, and they will not be considered for upgrades (except for supernumerary upgrades)," the official said.
Over 15,500 students were admitted to undergraduate courses across Delhi University colleges in the second round of seat allocation. Over 30,500 students, allotted programmes across the university's colleges, have frozen their seats while over 23,000 candidates opted for upgradation of seats after the second merit list, the official had said. The university has also received 1,008 mid-entry applications.
