NEW DELHI: Approximately 59,100 students have secured admission in Delhi University in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round 1 by paying the admission fee. DU will release the vacant seats tomorrow, October 26 at 10 AM. The online window to re-order higher preference will be available from October 26 to 27 at the official website - ugadmission.uod.ac.in.

Over 72,800 candidates, out of 80,164, accepted the college and course allotted to them in the university’s first round of CSAS seat allocations.

“The candidates who have secured their admission in Round–I can opt for “Upgrade” and re-order their higher preferences from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 to 04:59 P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2022, read an official notification from DU.

The university informed that if a new preference is allocated, the claim for earlier seat will stand forfeited automatically leading to its auto-cancellation. Candidates who get upgraded will have to accept the upgraded seat and complete the admission procedures on the upgraded allocated seat.

DU will release the 2nd merit list on October 30. Candidates can accept the allocated seat from October 31 to November 1. Applicants can verify and approve their documents online till November 2. Last date to pay the fee against DU second merit list is November 3.

Recently, DU announced the rejection of reserved category candidates in seat allocation for CSAS round-1 who did not submit their category certificates according to the university's prescribed format. These candidates will be considered for the unreserved seats in CSAS round 2.
