Download NowNEW DELHI: University of Delhi (DU) extends round 1 of common seat allocation system (CSAS) 2022. Candidates to 'accept' allocated seats by October 22, 2022 till 11:50 AM. The last date for online payment of admission fee has been extended till 5 PM on October 24, 2022. Candidates can check schedule on the DU website- admission.uod.ac.in

The candidates who have been allocated a seat in CSAS round 1 must accept their respective seat allocation through their dashboard. An approval and verification from the college will be sent by October 23. Thereafter the candidate will have to pay a fee to confirm their admission by October 24, 2022. The allocation list is not public only the candidate will be able to see the college and courses allotted to them on their dashboard.

The candidates accept their admission whenever offered. Only candidates who have secured their admission will be considered for upgradation in the CSAS next rounds, if applicable. The window for 'upgrade, re-ordering the higher preference' for round 2 of CSAS will be available from 5 PM on October 25, 2022 till 4:50 PM on October 27, 2022 only to candidates who have accepted their admission and paid the fees.
The remaining candidates who have been allocated a seat in CSAS round 1 will be considered for round2 on the basis of availability and allocation policy in the CSAS policy.
Over 60,000 candidates have accepted their seats in the Delhi University first merit list so far while admission of 39,526 is underway. This year, the university is admitting students on the basis of their Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores instead of their Class 12 marks. On September 12, the university released the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for UG admissions.
