Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi (DU) has declared the vacant seats available for the DU special spot admission round for undergraduate programmes in certain shortlisted colleges. Candidates can check the vacancies at DU admission portal- admission.uod.ac.in.

DU special spot admission round vacancies
After the declaration of vacant seats, interested candidates can apply for such seats in the special admission round from 10 AM on December 19 to 11:50 PM on December 20, 2022. According to the official schedule, the university will declare the allocation list on 10 Am of December 22, 2022.

Candidates can then 'accept' their allocated seats from 10 AM on December 22 to 4:59 PM on December 23, 2022. The university has informed that candidates will have to take admission in the seats allocated, it is mandatory. They will also not have an option to 'upgrade' and 'withdraw' their admission during the special spot admission round.
The seat allocated in this round will be final, as per university rules, allocations in the special spot round will be done based on the availability of seats, programme-specific merit of the candidates, order of preference of programme and college, and category.
If the candidate fails to accept their seat, it will forfeit the their ability to take admission in the University of Delhi.
