DU announces CSAS round 3 admission schedule 2026; issues advisory for CBSE compartment students

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the undergraduate admission schedule under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG) for 2026-27. The CSAS-UG 2026 schedule includes important dates up to the third round of seat allocation. It also includes timelines for upgraded allocations, round 3 admissions, performance-based programmes, and admissions under the CW, ECA, sports, and ward quota categories.

The schedule further specifies deadlines for seat acceptance, college verification, fee payment, and document verification, which candidates must complete within the prescribed timeline. Candidates participating in the ongoing DU UG 2026 admission process must complete each stage to confirm their admission.

Special note for CBSE compartment students

Delhi University has also issued a special advisory for candidates awaiting their Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12 compartment examination 2026 results. To ensure that such students do not miss out on the undergraduate admission process, the university has advised them to complete phase I registration during the CSAS(UG) 2026 mid-entry window.

By registering during the mid-entry window, candidates can keep their candidature active in the central admission database even though their final class 12 results have not yet been declared. Once the CBSE announces the compartment examination results, these candidates will become eligible to complete phase 2 of the CSAS(UG) 2026 admission process, where they can fill in their preferences for programmes and colleges.

Delhi University has recorded over 71,000 confirmed undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic session. As per the latest data released by the university, 71,342 candidates had accepted and confirmed their allotted seats as of 6:30 pm on July 29.
