The DU BTech first allotment list for admission to academic session 2023 is prepared based on the all-India common rank list (CRL) of the JEE Main 2023 exam. The candidates who have been allotted seats under round 1 will have to “Accept” the allocated seat before the last date to avoid cancellation of the allotment and will have to get their documents verified.
Candidates will have to report to the Faculty of Technology for physical verification of documents between August 3 and 9. The window to upgrade seats against DU BTech first seat allotment will open on August 11.

An official statement from the university read, ” Inactivity or no-action will be taken as non-acceptance to the allocated seat. It will be treated as a decline to the provisionally allocated seats and the candidate will no longer be able to participate in subsequent rounds.”
The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate considering the criteria set by the university which includes programme merit, the category to which the candidate belongs (UR, OBC, SC, ST, or EWS) and the availability of seats.
On the approval from the university after the verification process the candidates will have to pay the requisite admission confirmation fee of the allocated seat of Rs 1,00,000. The DU BTech admission will be confirmed only after successfully paying the admission confirmation fee.
The university offers BTech in computer science and engineering (CSE), electronic and communication engineering (ECE) and electrical engineering. There are a total of 120 seats in each programme.
