Download NowNEW DELHI: The University of Delhi will release the DU second cut-off list 2021 tomorrow, October 9. Candidates who were unable to get a seat through the first DU cut-off 2021 can apply for admissions on the basis of the second cut-off list. Apart from this, the students who have taken admissions on the basis of the first cut-off list can also change their choices and apply for admissions in DU second cut-off list 2021.

The admissions for DU 2nd cut-off list will begin from October 11 (10 am) and will be over on October 13 (11:59 pm). The DU colleges principals will approve the admissions of the students by October 14 (5 pm). The last date to make the fee payment against the second cut-off list of DU 2021 is October 15 (5 pm).
DU received 60,904 applications for the admissions against the Delhi University 1st cut-off list 2021 out of which 14,205 applications were approved and 27,006 students paid the fees.
With the end of the first round of admissions at Delhi University, seats in many popular courses are filled in few DU colleges. Hindu College and Miranda House College will not release the second cut-off list for BA Hons Political Science as the seats in these programmes are already grabbed by the students.
"We will be closed for admissions to Political Science (Honours), History (Honours), Hindi (Honours), BA programme, Philosophy (Honours), etc and almost all the science courses. I think we will only have seats left in BA (Honours) Economics and BCom (Honours)," Anju Srivastava, principal of Hindu College told PTI .
Miranda House College’s principal, Bijaylakshmi Nanda said in the report that while they have seats left in courses like Sociology (Honours), History (Honours), Economics(Honours) and some combinations of BA programme the college will not open the second cut-off list for Political Science (Honours), Chemistry (Honours), Physics (Honours), Zoology (Honours).
Last year, the highest cut-off score in the second round was 99.75 at LSR for BA Hons Political Science and BA Hons Psychology.
