DU UG Admission 2021: Defence students can select preferred course, college till December 4

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University (DU) has issued a notice allowing eligible students from armed forces category, who missed to apply preferences for college and courses, to update their choices for seeking admission to the various undergraduate programmes by December 4, 11:59 pm.

“This is to inform all eligible applicants belonging to the armed forces category seeking admission to the undergraduate programmes (merit-based) for the academic session 2021-2022 that those who missed to apply preferences for course or college are being given a last opportunity to update their preferences. The UG portal will be open from 1.00 PM, 03.12.2021 to 11.59 PM, 04.12.2021,” an official statement from DU said.
Students must login to the UG portal using their registered email address and password and select their preferences for course and college within the given time.

The university announced second special drive cut-offs on the official website - du.ac.in. to fill up vacant seats in the various undergraduate programmes offered by the university. The minimum required marks witnessed a steep decline in the range of 2% to 9% at some colleges. Earlier, the university had announced a cut-off under a special drive on November 13.
Under the second special drive, candidates could apply for admission on November 25 and 26. Colleges released the merit list on their website and candidates had time from November 27 to 5 pm on November 30 to make payments.

Till the DU fifth cut-off list 2021, around 74,667 students had secured admission in the university.
Delhi University commenced offline classes for the first-year undergraduate students from November 22. DU colleges such as Gargi College, Indraprastha College For Women and Ramanujan College conducted the orientation day for the UG students.
